Mariam Omran Al Hallami

Manager, Research and Evaluation

Mariam Al Hallami is the Manager of Research and Evaluation at the Salama bint Hamdan Foundation. As the first research and evaluation manager in any foundation in the region, Ms. Al Hallami is responsible for creating evaluation frameworks, identifying indicators, and collecting evidence to measure the impact and outcomes of the Foundation’s projects.

Before joining the Foundation, she completed a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership at the Institute of Education, University of London. With her interest in evidence-based policy, Ms. Al Hallami’s dissertation focused on exploring the use of evidence and research in informing education policy. She also holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Studies-Finance from Zayed University-Abu Dhabi where she graduated with distinction.

Ms. Al Hallami has been a recipient of multiple awards including: the Emirates Foundation Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Higher Education Grant, the National Research Fund Young Emirati Innovator Prize, the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Award for Distinguished Students, and the Manchester Innovation Award among others. She is also a published author with a chapter on innovation in the Emirates in the publication titled “The Dark Side of Technological Innovation.”
