Senior Manager, Special Projects
Dan Phillips joined the Foundation in September 2013 as the Operation Manager of Special Projects. Mr. Phillips manages the design and construction aspects of all Foundation special projects.
From 2008- August 2013, Mr. Phillips worked with the Royal Group, a large multi-national conglomerate based in the Abu Dhabi. There, he was responsible for delivering several of the group’s strategic projects. Over his 5 years with Royal Group, he developed an extensive and diverse portfolio of over 35 local and international projects for a variety of key clients and stakeholders, including local and international government agencies, as well as the Abu Dhabi Royal Family. Notably, he was responsible for delivering one of the Foundation’s first public projects Wendy Abu Dhabi.
From 2003-2008, Mr. Phillips worked with one the UK’s largest and leading residential development companies, George Wimpey (later merging with Taylor Woodrow to become Taylor Wimpey). During his time with Wimpey UK, he received extensive training in the field of construction and project management and went on to deliver several small, medium and large scale residential developments across England and Wales. During this time, he received several internal and external industry recognized awards for his work.
Dan graduated in 2003 from the University of Wales, Swansea Institute and currently holds a B.SC. (Hons) in Project and Construction management. He is also a member of the chartered institute of builders (CIOB).
